The Social and Hospitality Ministry Volunteers work with the Coordinator of Health and Wellness Ministry. These groups have separate volunteers that do the work required to have a balance of togetherness and belonging within our parish life...

The Social Committee is a group that meets and plans the social activities held by the parish annually. They are appointed by the Pastor and Health Office. The plan the menu’s, the publishing of event to come in bulletin, the room reservation and set up, the contracting of a food provider or purchase and preparation of food or refreshments and other various responsibilities for the parish to meet together for a special time. Each member of the committee is invited to ask others to help carry out this role. These volunteers host events like “Fall Welcome to Newcomers and Welcome Back to our parishioners who have been away,” Parish Appreciation, Christmas Dinners to the Homebound, and other parish annual events.

The Hospitality Ministry Volunteers take care of the ordering and serving of the Coffee and Doughnuts time after all the Sunday Masses (with the exception of those Sunday’s that we have that special Knights of Columbus monthly Pancake Breakfast). All members of our parish are encouraged to take part in the milling around and making the members of Saint Steven’s Parish feel welcome and apart.
