I was born in Massachusetts, the youngest of 4 brothers and sisters. My older brothers and sister have passed into eternal life. At the age of 5, I became caught up with the ideal of being a foreign missionary priest. This dream persisted and after elementary school, I was accepted into a college prep seminary for a religious community, Missionary Servants of the Most Holy Trinity, whose seminary was in Holy Trinity, Alabama. After 4 years of high school, 4 years of college and a year of novitiate, I studied 4 more years of Theology. I was ordained in Winchester, Virginia, on June 2nd, 1966. I received many mission assignments far and wide, until I came to Phoenix in 1985. I was 1st appointed to St. Jerome for 5 years, St. Thomas the Apostle for 1 year, Blessed Sacrament in Scottsdale for 4 years, St. Jerome for 10 years and am now close to 3 years at St. Steven's. 30 various assignments, many with multiple parishes & mission Churches have given me an opportunity to experience varied situations, needs and be grateful for the deep faith that I have found. |

![]() | I am the product of the 50s Midwest farm culture which I left as soon as I turned 18, straight into a four year enlistment in the Air Force. I was trained as an electronic technician for repair of the B-52 systems during the Vietnam era, spending most of my service time in Northern California. Upon discharge I moved to Southern California and graduated from the University of California with a BA in Psychology and a minor in statistical analysis. I have worked for myself and for Pacific Sod farms in the Sod producing industry. In 1990 I moved to Arizona and accepted a position managing a condominium complex in Scottsdale and in 1998 accepted the position of General Manager of Sunland Village of Mesa until 2003 when I retired due to health reasons. After some serious surgery and recovery I found St. Stevens. I enjoy my wife and children, snow skiing, computers, camping, cruise ships and Hawaii. |

Currently I am the altar server coordinator with responsibility for training and as well the assignments for all the Masses. My husband and I moved here from Grand Blanc, Michigan in the fall of 2005. We have been married for 32 years and have three children. Our oldest daughter Carrie is 29 and our twin sons, Nathan and Neil are 27. My Husband, Jim was in the Deaconate program in the Diocese of Lansing, Michigan and is continuing in the Diocese of Phoenix and should be ordained in 2010. I was a stay-at-home mom while raising our children and then worked part time at our home town parish for a few years as Religious Education secretary. We joined St. Andrew's when we first moved here and then joined St.Steven's in January of 2007 after my husband came to Fr. Pierre for spiritual direction. At that time, Fr. Pierre said there was a need for him here at this parish. We feel very welcome and at home here at St. Steven's. I'm thrilled to back working in the church, again. |

I moved to the Valley from New York in the winter of 2000 - the last of my family to arrive. I have 4 children and 7 1/2 grandchildren who all live in AZ. I worked in a teaching hospital in Stony Brook, NY and devoted most of my free time to ministry at my parish. I attended the "Pastoral Formation Institute" @ the Seminary of the Immaculate Conception in Huntington, NY for 3 years, the last year focusing on sacraments and liturgy to enhance my ministry in RCIA. I just came on board here at St. Steven's in June and feel very blessed to be working in such a loving community. |
